Frank F: I know. Do you have do you have any other music today playing?
Daniela M S: No, we don’t have hand.
David B: Frank, you can sing if you want.
Pablo V: Daniel is just making his absence notable. Just 500.
Frank F: Is it? Oh yeah, maybe I didn’t realize that noise cancellation goes there by
Milan B: I’m
Frank F: default.
Milan B: military.
Frank F: Anyway, I think we can the golden five minutes have passed. We can uh start already have enough people. Hello everybody. For those who haven’t met me, my name is Frank. I’ll be hosting the today’s community call. We have a few things on the agenda. Let’s start with the thing that is most exciting which is city planning and the map which is going to be opened up later today. Melo, you want to take it over?
Melody P: Yes, we are running. It’s the final sprint to make everything ready. We are almost there. So, but we can open maybe not all the feature will be there tonight but no the app for play barrier placement is on humans.
Melody P: You have a city section where bio leads can add their bio. So only the bio leads can edit and add bio but everyone can watch and see what’s happening in there. And yeah that’s it. I guess yes we are missing one thing because Danielle is not here apparently. We said we will provide the outline on Discord but there are no voice channel on Discord. So does anyone can admin the server and add?
Pablo V: Yeah, I can I can
Melody P: You can. Oh perfect. If Yeah. just open for tonight and for placement it would be great. Thank you. But you all can go to humans and see the map how it is. There is just a little issue for now is that we cannot
Pablo V: I’ll
Melody P: suppress the barrier we add. So there is the test I realized and no there is a garden of joy that is in the blue zone instead of shush and common play. So they will have to move but yeah we’re almost there.
Frank F: Oh, there’s a question from Ollie. Can you only edit your own barrier or can you also edit other people’s
Melody P: No, you cannot.
Frank F: barriers?
Melody P: No, no, you cannot. I mean, I guess because I can add all barrier because I’m a super admin, so I can do whatever. But I guess for normal user, you can only add your bario.
Frank F: Nice.
Daniel M S: I don’t know. It said it’s opening at 9,
Frank F: Um,
Daniel M S: right? We are opening.
Melody P: Yes, it’s opening just after the community
Daniel M S: Mhm.
Melody P: call and for a
Frank F: looking forward to it.
Pablo V: uh the voice
Frank F: It’s going to be
Melody P: bit more than two
Frank F: intense.
Pablo V: tunnel.
Melody P: weeks.
Frank F: Did you say something?
Pablo V: All right, I just want to say that the voice channel will be created in one minute.
Melody P: Thank you.
Frank F: Nice. Awesome. Um, any more questions for Melo? Nope.
Frank F: Awesome. Excited for nine o’clock. Moving on to L&T update with Shisho.
Shitshow: Yes.
Frank F: You around?
Shitshow: Hello.
Frank F: Yeah.
Shitshow: This is s***
Frank F: Place
Shitshow: Show. First time in the Oops. Others may see my video differently, I was just told. I don’t know what that means. Anyways, um first time that I’m in the community call because I wasn’t around. Wow. Toilet paper reactions. Amazing. Um this is um hopefully a very quick thing. I had a chat with Danny yesterday and I think we can both confirm that we will have toilets this year again. Amazing. Um, one thing that is happening is that the formerly called PMS will now be called TAP. In case you were wondering what that means, this is stands for total access period because the acronym PMS was not received by everyone equally. And so we try to find something that uh is um at least uh leads now to the I think funny name of the tap dancers of the people who will take care of uh the taps.
Shitshow: Um what we talked about yesterday was were different things. I would just like put this out and then maybe you can react either on Discord or you can um reach out to to the the L&T department. It was about placement. So in case for the people who used them um in case you remember there was one cap that was closer to the plier and all the others were spread out. So the the question was should we try to position them closer towards the plier that for example at night you don’t have to run uh far away in in search of one uh or should we keep it the way it was last year. This was one of the questions and the other question was uh we used locks last year and this was not a perfect solution because sandstorms uh made them unusable uh sometimes. So we had to run around and spray spray some stuff on it to to make them lubricate them so to speak to make them usable again. And uh one person even flexed one uh away from one of the tabs which made me not so happy that day.
Shitshow: Um, so the question is should we try to find a different solution to for example have a fence around them or I don’t know anything else but if anyone has a better solution than the locks please let us know. Um otherwise if there’s no better solution it might be the locks again. Uh and again please tell everyone around you who’s also coming to elsewhere this year that the tabs are only for people who are on their period who have accessibility needs and there was also the the case if someone has a sto I don’t know if this has ever happened but really only the people who should use them should use them. So that’s the message from L&T. I think that’s uh about it. If you have questions right now, you can shoot, but otherwise reach out on Discord or uh via the humans app. Thank you.
Frank F: Thank you very much. Let’s see how many locks don’t get broken this year. Uh next we have the barrier support update.
Frank F: Um I think case are they around? I think I’ve seen them joining the call.
Cayce: I am sure thing.
Frank F: Nice. Would you like to take us away?
Cayce: Yep. Um fairly short update from us this week. Um first and foremost, obviously barrier registration closed the other night. We now have uh I want to say 38 barios registered for this year. So that’s great work folks. We’re looking at having a nice full player again. Um we are currently working with um Peter and production on the next step for barriers which will be other than obviously placement that we just heard about which will be the ordering of the stuff for on site. Uh watch this space. We’ll have some stuff for you over the coming weeks on that. Um, but the most immediate thing for Barios is that next week’s community call will be a barrier speed dating takeover where any interested barriers can basically do a 5minute pitch about who they are, what their vibe is. Um, folks who don’t have a barrier yet will come on, listen, maybe ask some questions.
Cayce: Um not sure quite what this format that will be yet, but if you’re interested in taking part as a barriio and you’ve not yet talked to us, um drop us a note on the discord or uh barios at nobodyies.team and uh we’ll get you lined up on that. So that’ll be yeah this this same call, this same link as usual next week, but uh we’ll be doing a bit of a barrier support uh speed dating barrier takeover. Uh don’t think there’s anything else that folks need to know from me this week, so we’ll uh keep it short and sweet.
Frank F: Amazing. Thank you very much. Um, any questions? Well, you know, if you have questions, you can always ask them in Discord later, too. All right. Next, we have volunteer shoutout with some news from nurse Were you able to make it this? Yeah,
Michael M: Yes. Hello.
Frank F: I think I see you.
Michael M: I’m here. Can you see me?
Frank F: Yep. Gone.
Michael M: Okay, then. So, it’s been amazing this year how we’ve managed to get teams up and running.
Michael M: It seems to be working really well. We’re getting new people who’ve not been to the event before, managing to navigate it and sign up. Um, some of you who I know are coming haven’t signed up yet. So perhaps you’re having more difficulty than some of the new people. In terms of the number of people that we need to physically put this event on, we have about 20% of the volunteers that we need. The volunteer situation is quite low. I think some of that is a lot of people are just not returning. They’re taking a year. We had a big discussion this year and I think lots of people have decided to tap out. Um, some people are just waiting until close to the date to sign up, but especially around the first crew period, like that first week on site and that second week, there’s a huge amount of work that needs to be done. Of the 3-week period on site, build infrastructure has about 14% of the people that it needs. Cantina has about 26%, power 15%, city planning 17%.
Michael M: And that’s before we look at the event time. So, put the word out there. We are keen to have people come, especially in that pre-event period to get things done. Um, but yeah, you know, I think there’s a certain amount that we can do to put the event on. We need to make sure it’s safe. We need to make sure it’s legal. We need to make sure it’s fun. You know, turning up and grafting for three weeks and if it’s not fun is a pain in the backside. So yeah, if you are speaking to people who are considering coming to volunteer, make sure people get registered on teams because the only information we have is the information we have to go on. That’s before we started to look at the event time slate seems to be doing very well about nearly you know a good 40 or so percent of their shifts are filled. Malfar is at 17%, welfare 7%. So yeah, just if people are coming to volunteer, get them to sign up.
Michael M: The It’s great that we have 38 barios and I think a lot of people’s energy is going into there and I’ll certainly be enjoying their dance floors and their workshops. Um, but yeah, we just need to push the good vibes around volunteering and coming early. So if any of your team have not signed up, please make sure they do. I might be looking at a team that looks empty and actually all of your team are coming. You just haven’t filled it in yet. That’s
Frank F: Nice. Thank you,
Michael M: it.
Frank F: nurse. Um, yeah, talk to your friends, share maybe some experience of your good volunteering. Um, people seem to really vibe with something that they get, not just they have to do, but they also get the experience back. Um, I think a lot of people keep in mind that they will volunteer but haven’t signed up. Um, so I think it’s more of lack of awareness that this is quite urgent than actual people not caring. Or at least that’s what I’m choosing to believe for now.
Frank F: Awesome. Um then if there’s no more questions um let’s move on to a nice let’s go on to a bus update with Aaron. I wonder where he is today.
Aaron R: I’m down the pub. Um, good to see you all. The two quick updates from me. One around bus tickets. Uh, I know that we’ve spoken about this for a while and it feels like it’s the never never. Um, I did connect with Fram yesterday. We are now crystal clear we have got buses. We’ve got an agreement around pricing. that there’s not going to be dynamic variable pricing. Everything’s one price. People will be able to change bus tickets um free of charge as well if the timings change. So, we’ve got the model already. We’ve just got some final bits to do. They will be live next week. I can make that promise. And just following on from nurs’s comment about volunteering, I know that we haven’t been releasing the exact number of tickets.
Aaron R: We saw a massive ticket spike as we came to the end of wave 1. And the amount of tickets that we’ve sold does not correlate with the volunteers that we’re getting. So, we’ve got over 45% of the tickets sold of last year already. And we’re seeing only around the 20% of the volunteering. So, we need to get going with the volunteering uh because we’ve definitely got the numbers. We just haven’t actually followed through onto the shifts. I expect that we’ll see another spike of tickets as we reach the end of wave two and a steady flux between now and then. But thank you for everybody for getting the tickets and getting on board.
Frank F: Great. Thank you very much. Next up, we have Ollie with an update from Creativity. What’s going on with Creativity? Ollie, are you joining us? I can see you looking at us, but you’re on mute.
Oliver K: Oh,
Frank F: Apparently the updates.
Oliver K: are you are are you are you talking to me, Frank?
Frank F: Yes. Do you want to do any updates about creativity?
Oliver K: Why?
Frank F: Anything?
Oliver K: I I remember I I remember I did it yesterday, but I can do it again. Um so, um unfortunately, um as you all might know, Zeria has stepped down. So, at the moment, um, we don’t have the top of the TOPS coordinator at our hands, but the team is, you know, working pretty hard and we’re we’re getting things done. So, everything’s, um, turning turning out pretty well. We got pretty good um, art proposals coming in, some very exciting stuff. Um, and yeah, it’s uh the the only things we we could use your money. We could use more money actually and um we hope we’re getting some in the future because our budget is quite tight and yeah, thanks for the money. And um no, things are working pretty well and um we’re happy. Art is happy. Creativity is happy.
Frank F: Amazing. Happy days. If there is art, then that will be fun.
Frank F: Cool. Also, uh for all of those barrier messages, uh thank you very much for pushing it across all your members and making it mandatory. Um, I think that would make make a difference. Last on the list today, we have a power update from Cupcake.
Cupcake: All right. Hello.
Frank F: This.
Cupcake: So, um, power, uh, we are on track in some ways. We’ve, we’ve got, uh, the plans for the big old generators for the three grids. Hopefully, we’re going to have all three grids we’ve had in previous years, keeping our organization, our art, and our barios powered. Um, there are a number of uncertainties. High on the list is, of course, if we’re going to get that power installed and running. We do need um hands for that. And so I think nurse already uh mentioned this but power is very low on hands. So so if you or any nobody you know has electrical experience come uh come our way. Uh but other than that if you are a bario lead uh looking to place there are some places that are reached by the grids and some that are not avoid the green and the blue area.
Cupcake: Um hopefully the grids will be able to reach into the other places but if you have any questions or concerns about grid and you are going to be connected one of those also don’t hesitate to reach out power.team. Um so yeah that’s uh that’s power
Frank F: beautiful. Um, nice. I think we might set a new records on the time today. Um, anybody has any questions that didn’t get filled in the agenda or something they want to share that is pressing? Yeah. Helen.
Ellen K: Hey. Hey. Uh, I’m going to go back in time and ask a question about arts. Um, someone asked me that they saw at some point a call for arts and art projects. Is this still up? Where do we send people for this? How does this work? Could we have a a brief on this? Because I think I might have missed it.
Oliver K: So that’s that’s for me I guess. Okay. So yeah, no we had a call for art.
Oliver K: It was on various channels like Telegram, Discord, um a lot of garden groups in Europe and um so if you want to just um send us your project, your ideas, just go to um https art.humans um team and then you can just see or have a look at our new tool where we um display the art um proposals that have already come in. And you can also um send us your art proposal so we can review it, get in contact with you and um yeah, it’s a very it’s a kind of Google form where you can just um fill out um like what you’re planning, your power needs, your art brand and stuff and we review it and um yeah, then we get back to you. That’s the way it works.
Ellen K: Thank you.
Oliver K: Oh, um may may I add you can also go to the um Nobody’s Collective web page and then click on links and then art.
Frank F: Thank you. Cool. Then uh thank you all for joining us today and uh looking forward
Pablo V: Oh,
Frank F: to the speed dating on next
Pablo V: maybe sorry in case in case somebody wants something for the website,
Frank F: Thursday.
Pablo V: I just want to share one thing. I’m noticing that there’s a lot of uh a lot of cool resources that not even I know about. So if anybody wants something in the website, this is very easy for us to do. Uh so if you want art grants or survival dates or volunteering um this literally takes 10 minutes to to quote something if you give us a document so for example I did this one yesterday and maybe it’s wrong uh I still need the people who ask for it to check but this is volunteering elsewhere put some text there’s a full PDF here so very very easy to upload this kind of things we just need to know where they go so if you are a lead of an area that wants to say something, reach out on Discord. Or if you don’t find something and you want me to make it better for somebody else, uh, give us a shout.
Ellen K: I just wanted to raise there was question in the chat too that seemed kind of important from Lenard about
Frank F: Oops.
Ellen K: roads on the brake zones on the map. Roads whether brakes are negotiable. I see Melody has said that they are, but is there
Melody P: Yes, some some of them, not all of them, but some. Yes, you can ask and negotiate and we are here to help.
Lennart L: Yeah, thanks. Um, it’s the road between um orange and yellow zone on the upper part of the map.
Melody P: Oh, that one.
Frank F: Can we maybe save these for the 9:00 live discussion?
Melody P: Yeah,
Daniel M S: Can you repeat the question?
Melody P: we’ll
Frank F: I think yeah, map is flexible.
Melody P: see.
Frank F: We all just need to coordinate with each other and uh see what we can compromise
Daniel M S: Yeah.
Frank F: on. Cool. Anybody else? Cool. Then have a wonderful evening and I’ll see I’ll see you guys all soon. Bye bye.
Daniel M S: by Thank you.
Ellen K: Thank you. Thank Thank you.
Pablo V: Bye-bye.
